Description: The Marin Municipal Water District (District) is soliciting proposals to provide a District-wide Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) deployment solution, including provision of an AMI data collection network with District-wide coverage, supply of AMI compatible water meters and registers, the supply of AMI radio transmitters for all District accounts, and provision of a fully functional AMI meter data collection software, analysis and meter data management solution.

A non-mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on December 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM PST via a Microsoft Teams web meeting by pre-registering with the District AMI Program Manager. Representatives from the District will be available for discussions and to field questions at this meeting. The purpose of the Pre-Proposal Conference is to aid interested parties in the interpretation of the Request for Proposal (RFP), Sample Contract, and other technical and contractual matters.

If you have any questions regarding the RFP, please email inquiries to Craig Lauridsen at clauridsen@marinwater.org. Questions shall be submitted and received until 4:30pm (PST) on January, 8, 2026. Questions received after this date and time shall not be evaluated.
